Since 2018 Mulletfest HQ has been searching for Australia’s best Mullet. We have brought the Mullet back into fashion and all we can say is, you’re welcome. In 2022 with Covid having decimated the hospitality industry and people finding it hard to travel we decided that if the Mullets can’t come to us, we will come to them. We began touring the country in January and will continue through to the end of the year. For the first time, there will be a grand final event held in Kurri Kurri in December to crown the Greatest Mullet of them all for 2022.

As much as we’d like to, we can’t get to every town but we feel we need to search far and wide for the unicorn of the Mullet world; The Ginger Mullet. Let’s face it, if you are a redhead rocking a mullet you already have the confidence we are looking for in a winner. We have decided to team up with a company, as iconic and Australian as the Mullet itself - Bundy.
